The events of your past...

Two things define you...

When choosing a husband...

Calamity

The Muslim should ponder and realise that he is not the only one in this world who is affected by calamity and hardship. Calamities befell the greatest of mankind, namely the Prophets, Messengers and the righteous. They also befell the worst of mankind, namely the disbelievers and atheists.

Calamity is part of the natural order of things and hardly anyone is safe from it.

If the believer handles it well and is patient, and it becomes a means that makes him turn back to Allaah and strive hard in worship and righteous deeds, then the calamity will have been good for him and will be expiation for his sins, and perhaps he will meet Allaah with no burden of sin.

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said:

“No pain, hardship, sickness or grief befalls a believer, not even worry that befalls him, but some of his bad deeds will be expiated.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5642) and Muslim (2573)

Al-Tirmidhi (2399) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Calamities will continue to befall believing men and women in themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet Allaah with no burden of sin.”

When you sin...

One of the salaf said: when I commit sin, I see its effect on my family and my riding-beast.

This confirms what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, according to the hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurayrah who said:

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Allaah loves a person He calls Jibreel and says, ‘I love So and so, so love him.’ Then Jibreel loves him, then he calls out in the heavens saying, ‘Allaah loves him, so love him.’ Then the inhabitants of heaven love him, and he also finds acceptance on earth. But if Allaah hates a person, He calls Jibreel and says, ‘I hate So and so, so hate him.’ Then Jibreel hates him, then he calls out in the heavens saying, ‘Allaah hates So and so, so hate him.’ So they hate him, and he is also hated on earth.”

Turn Away...

♥::Allah is our beautiful source of strength & patience::♥

“Turn away from your worries,
And entrust your affairs to His Decree.

Rejoice at the good which will soon be,
You will then forget what has gone by .

Perhaps an issue which upsets you,
Holds at its end what will gladden you.

Indeed Allah does what He wishes,
& He NEVER burdens His slave with anguish."

The Struggle

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat & watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, & it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.

Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were Allah's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If Allah [Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala] allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us.

We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never "fly"!

Every difficulty...

Allah says:

“And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).

And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things”

The Importance of Sincerity and Good Intention

Abu Harairah (peace be upon him) narrated:

Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

This Hadith highlights the importance of sincerity and good intention. It is, therefore, essential that every noble action should be based on these two virtues; and heart should be free from all such things that destroy noble deeds.

Hypocrisy, ostentation, greed for wealth, riches and other wordly things fall in the catergory of such evils. Since the true condition of heart is known to Allah alone, the true position of one's action will be known on the Day of Resurrection when one will be requited for them by Allah. In this world, one will be treated according to his apparent condition while his insight will be left to Allah.

Dear sisters :)

When your Hijab is see-through...
Or when it's half on your head and half not...
Or when it's on, but your fringe is showing...
Or when your hairs are covered
... but your ears are showing...
Or when your Hijab is on
but your wearing skin tight clothes
Or when you think Hijab is JUST covering your hair....
Sisters
THAT IS NOT HIJAB!!!

Sisters in islam understand the true value of Hijab, wear Hijab for the right reasons with the right intentions and with pride

Oh Allah...

I told you: I’m in pain

You said: ‘Do not despair of the mercy of Allaah’ (39:53)
...
I told you: Nobody knows what is in my heart

You said: ‘Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest’ (13:28)

I told you: Many people hurt me

You said: ‘So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them’ (3:159)

I told you: I feel I’m alone

You said: ‘We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein’ (50:16)

I told you: My sins are so many

You said: ‘And who can forgive sins except Allah?’ (3:135)

I told you: Do not leave me

You said: ‘So remember Me; I will remember you…’ (2:152)

I told you: I’m facing a lot of difficulties in life

You said: ‘And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out’ (65:2)

I told you: I have many dreams that I want to come true

You said: ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’ (40:60)

Subhan Allah
